THE GRINTON AWARD AT A GLANCE
The Grinton Award - will enable one successful applicant showing passion and flair within the Arts to receive full funding for the entirety of their education from Year 7 through to Year 13. The Arts in this instance will include, but are not limited to; painting, applied arts, sculpture, graphics, photography, creative writing, drama, costume and fashion design, television, radio and film.

WHOÂ CAN APPLY
Applicants for the Grinton Award must currently be in Year 6 of a government-funded school, in order to enter the school in Year 7 in September 2021.

There will be no geographical restrictions on applicants, although applications will be subject to means testing as per the bursary assessment structure in place at the school. Applications are for external candidates only.

WHAT IS THE AWARD
A Full Scholarship
A fully-funded scholarship is the highest level of award and recognises an impressive candidate with a high level of competence. The applicant must show particular talent within the arts, this will be demonstrated by their interpretation of a specified task and an informal interview.
A full fee scholarship means that all fees, including the opportunity to board, are met as part of the award, to ensure that the most suitable child, regardless of their financial background, can join our school.
